We all love to travel. Its the thrill of going to new places and the jaw dropping scenes that pumps our adrenaline.

Well that’s not an issue. Last year I visited a place called Dhotrey, a small settlement, amidst the forest of sub Himalayan Bengal. From there a small trek to Tonglu. And all it cost me is Rs. 2300 (depending on lodging and fooding) and 3 days and 2 nights.
Itinerary: Reach Siliguri by morning – from there take a jeep to Dhotrey – stay the night – next day trek to Tonglu – spend the night there – next morning trek down to ManeBhanjan via Meghma and Chitrey – from ManeBhanjan you will find jeeps to Siliguri.
If you are on a short budget or on a tight schedule, this trek might be just the perfect fit for you. And oh! the scenes of lovely forests of Rhododendron, Pine, Fir, Birch Bamboo Glades and the breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga range from the view point of Tonglu, will definitely going to leave you speechless!!
